
MAHTAB GHAMSARI – OUR NEW GUEST VOCAL COACH
We are thrilled to announce that Mahtab Ghamsari, a gifted soprano and experienced vocal coach, will be joining House of Saba as our guest vocal coach for the Spring 2025 term.
With roots in both Iran and Canada, Mahtab is currently completing her Master of Music in Vocal Studies at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in London. Her journey in classical music began in childhood through choral singing, eventually leading her to opera in 2018. Since then, she has performed a range of operatic roles, including Valencienne in The Merry Widow, Miss Jessel in Britten’s The Turn of the Screw, Voice of Heaven in Verdi’s Don Carlo, and Zerlina in Don Giovanni.
In addition to her vocal artistry, Mahtab brings a unique perspective through her background in music technology, where she has explored the intersection of live performance and digital innovation. Her creative work extends beyond traditional music settings, blending technology and the arts to enhance performance and engagement.

Mahtab is a Soprano of Iranian and Canadian origins currently pursuing a Masters of Music in vocal studies at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in London.
Mahtab has been singing classical music in choral ensembles since childhood. She switched to training in Opera in 2018 and has performed roles such as Valencienne from Franz Lehar’s The Merry Widow, Miss Jessel in Turn of the Screw by Benjamin Britten, Voice of the Heaven in Verdi’s Don Carlo, Zerlina from Don Giovanni and others.
Mahtab also has a degree in music technology where she researched the place of technology in the context of live music. Projects included working on Digital Musical Instruments, synthesizers and software. Her work outside of music resides within the creative industries trying to merge technology and the arts in fulfilling and effective ways.
